Seasonal

Our flower selection is constantly changing. We only grow what is in season.

Local

We grow all the flowers ourselves in Wellington. We have two gardens in Karori and one in Paekakariki.

Fresh

Our flowers are picked the day before you buy them and conditioned overnight.

Flowers

All our flowers are grown by us. We pick them at their most perfect moment and condition them so they last longer for you. We sell 3 different sized bunches (small $10, medium $20 & large $30).

We can make bespoke bunches too.

Wreaths, Pressed Flower Cards and Other Flower Crafts

We love making seasonal wreaths, hand printed cards (a new design even season and celebration) and other crafts with dried flowers.

We have 3 cottage gardens where we grow all our flowers.

Two gardens are in Karori, which provides the perfect clay soil for roses, dahlias and honeysuckle. The third garden is in Paekakariki. Its mild climate and sandy soil is perfect for statice, lavender, proteas and gladiolus.

How to get the best out of your flowers

Fresh Flowers

  • Put your bunch of flowers into fresh cold water as soon as you can.

  • Add fresh cold water every day to the top of your vase or jar (flowers are thirsty).

  • Keep your flowers away from direct sunlight and heat (this will cause them to wilt).

  • Remove dead or dying flowers and re-cut the stems of the flowers still alive. This is a good time to replace the water in the vase or jar with fresh cold water.

  • Make sure your vase or jar is completely clean before you put flowers into it.

About Our Flowers

  • We grow all of our flowers.

  • Every flower has a different vase life. Some flowers, like roses, have a shorter vase life than tulips.

  • Our flowers come in different stem lengths. That’s because we grow a wide variety of cottage flowers and not all flowers have long stems.

  • We don’t spray our flowers. We follow organic gardening principles.

Flower Workshops

We will be running some flower workshops this year. The details and dates will be released later this week, on this page.
